At your first visit, Dr. Hailey will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your current health concerns, personal and family medical history, lifestyle habits such as diet, sleep, exercise, community, and more. We will review any recent labs or order necessary labs to aid in our plan, discuss supplements and medication use, and deeply discuss how you’ve approached your healthcare throughout your life. Initial appointments are 90 minutes because Dr. Hailey wants to get a full understanding of you and the root cause of your symptoms.
From there we will work together to create a custom plan for your life, budget, and beliefs about health. Prior to the first visit patients are required to fill out a comprehensive intake form so that Dr. Hailey can begin getting to know you on a deeper level and optimize your time together to be of most benefit to you.

In the state of Minnesota, Naturopathic Doctors currently cannot accept insurance. While this can be frustrating at times Dr. Hailey looks at this as an upside to receiving care with her because this puts the power back into your hands when it comes to the care you receive and how much it costs. Did you know that insurance companies can dictate what treatments are covered and the type of care you receive? It’s really important to Dr. Hailey that every individual patient and client she works with gets the care they need specific to them — not what an insurance companies deems “medically necessary”.

FSA and HSAs approve payment for appointments with naturopathic doctors and the labs, testing, and supplements that they recommend. It is the responsibility of the account holder (patient/client) to make sure the services are covered by your plan.

This is very common for patients. Be sure to send your lab results over in the patient portal prior to your appointment and Dr. Hailey will be happy to go through each result and help you better understand what they mean.

Of course! Dr. Hailey is a strong advocate for informed medical decision making. She can sit down with you to cover the pros and cons of your treatment plan, offer additional or alternative options, and help you understand the full picture of your plan so that you can make an informed decision that feels right for you.

Dr. Hailey requires 24-hour notice for any cancelled or rescheduled appointments. No shows or appointments cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled time will be charged a $75 fee.
